Which current of the PCB should I choose?
It depends on the power of your motor or the current limitation of your controller. For example, below 350W choose 16A; below 500W choose 18A; below 800W choose 35A; below 1KW choose 60A.
Can I use a bigger size of PCB than required?
Yes. If you need 60A but choose 80A, it is fine as it allows higher current. However, you cannot choose a lower specification than required.
What kind of charger should I use?
Lithium batteries must be charged by lithium battery chargers. Lead-acid chargers can damage the MOS pipe of the PCB.
Do I need additional balancers if I have a PCB?
Adding balancers is highly recommended. While the PCB prevents overcharging/discharging, dedicated balancers ensure the battery lifespan is maximized and capacity is fully used.
How to judge if my PCB is broken?
Use a multi-meter to check if cell voltages are close. If the PCB is broken, the battery may not discharge even if the measured voltage appears normal.
Is temperature protection included?
Yes, temperature protection is one of the main functions of our BMS and can be customized according to specific requirements.
